What’s new in Clue Pregnancy?
We’ve been hard at work creating the different options, settings, and features requested by the millions of people who use Clue. The additions and improvements in the newly designed Clue app will bring us one step closer to our goal of inclusive and accessible science-based support for everyone with a cycle. Ready to dive in? Here’s what you can expect with your next app update.
Brand new Home Screen. We’ve redesigned the Home Screen so you can follow weekly changes better. With fetal development in focus, the new Home Screen makes it easier to understand the milestones of your pregnancy at a glance.
17 languages to choose from. The newly designed Clue app is available in Dutch, Indonesian, and Swedish, giving you a total of 17 language options for tracking with Clue. Now even more people can track their cycle, read articles and tips from the experts, and learn about their bodies, in the language they prefer. One less barrier. One more reason to track with Clue.
Fresh, sleek, seamless design. Tracking icons are now more colorful, with a people-friendly design and the same straightforward, factual approach that’s synonymous with the Clue app. Completely redesigned screens make navigating the app easier, so you can find what you need, when you need it.
Premium Customer Care. With Clue Pregnancy and Clue Plus, you’ll now receive quicker responses and help from our dedicated Support Team. Enjoy faster answers to your questions, in addition to the benefits you already know from Clue Plus, like articles and advice from the experts and in-depth insights and analysis of your unique cycle, all at your fingertips.
What’s changed?
Wondering where to find certain features in the newly-designed Clue app? Here’s a roundup of what’s still under construction.
Pregnancy-specific tracking categories will be currently offline. You can still track your experiences using other categories, but please keep in mind not all of these are meant to be tracked during pregnancy, such as ‘Period’ and birth control methods. If you have any concerns about what you’re experiencing, contact your healthcare provider to get the appropriate care and information you need.
Clue Connect is unavailable for now. If you’d like to receive information about when it will be back, make sure you’re opted into getting emails from Clue.
Reminders are temporarily unavailable but will be back very soon. In the meantime, make sure you set important reminders somewhere else.
After you’ve updated, it may take a while for you to be able to see the details linked to your previously tracked data in the Calendar View. Don’t worry, all your data has been saved. We’re currently working on making it visible again.
Some settings in the More Menu are still being constructed, such as the passcode feature. These will all be back soon.
Data export will also be back soon. If you regularly export your data (to share with your healthcare provider) we recommend you do it now before the update, since this feature will be temporarily unavailable. Follow these steps.
We know that some of these things may interrupt your experience with Clue and we’re sorry for not being able to provide you with pregnancy-specific tracking right away.
You can still get week-by-week support, access new and extended articles, and check out expert advice in your Content Tab. You’ll now have access to postpartum articles for ongoing support after your pregnancy as well.
Turn on your auto-updates to be one of the first to see these features again as soon as they’re back in your Clue app.
How do I get the newly designed Clue app?
To start following your pregnancy with the newly designed app, you don’t have to do anything at all. If you’ve enabled automatic app updates, you should see all of these exciting new features within your next app update. If you don’t have automatic app updates enabled, you can manually update the Clue app.
If you choose to manually update the app, it’s important that you don’t delete and reinstall the Clue app, but update the existing Clue app instead.
If you recently got a new phone–please upgrade to the latest Clue app on your old phone and log in to the app. From there, please download the Clue app to your new phone. This will ensure the smoothest migration.
