How to change the language in Clue

Choose how your interact with the Clue app in 20 languages

Clue is here to help you learn about your body. We understand that all of this can be easier if you are learning and interacting in a way that feels most comfortable to you. No misunderstandings, no misinformation.

By speaking your language, Clue brings reliable, science-based information about menstrual and reproductive health to women and people with cycles all over the world. We are committed to opening up conversations and fighting stigma around menstrual and reproductive health. 

You can choose how you interact with Clue in 20 languages. We’re always working on adding more to the list, but for now these include:  

  • English

  • Chinese-Simplified

  • Chinese-Traditional

  • Danish

  • Dutch

  • French

  • German

  • Hindi

  • Indonesian

  • Italian

  • Japanese

  • Norwegian Bokmål*

  • Polish

  • Portuguese

  • Russian

  • Spanish

  • Swedish

  • Thai*

  • Turkish

  • Vietnamese*

*New languages added in 2023!

Here’s how you can change the language in Clue:

For iOS: open Settings on your device. Scroll down to the list of installed apps and tapClue, then tap on Language. Select your preferred language.

You can now open Clue and automatically see the new language implemented across your application.

For Android: begin by opening Settings on your device. Find the Language settings, tap on Language, and add the new language to your existing language list. You may also be asked to select a region.

Make sure the new language is set as default or put it at the top of your language list. You can now open your Clue app and see the new language.
